Wow - an emotional, funny, sweet second chance romance - my favourite genre.
What an admirable man Lucas is, giving up his dream to return home and take are of his down syndrome sister when his mother dies. In the process he runs into a blast from the past, Scarlett who just happens to be Ella's teacher. Scarlett has always had a crush on Lucas but was left devastated 10 years ago, so it takes awhile for her to warm up to his charm.
A slow burn romance but you can't help but fall in love with these three, especially Ella. That bathroom incident - omg so funny. I love how Ella is such a big part of this story and a big part of Lucas and Scarlett's lives.
Loved it from start to finish.
Give me Ollie & Hazel story now - wouldn't mind Mason's either. Thanks Aimee for keeping me entertained for a few hours.
