Be sure to grab this swoonworthy romance from the wonderfully talented Harloe Rae. An ememies to lovers, single dad, arrogant, alpha, sexy hunk and a beautiful scarred heroine. Angsty, emotional, sob fest that will tear your heart to shreds. My kind of romance.
Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! You will no doubt fall in love with these characters immediately just as I did. Especially sweet sweet Ollie .
I loved the sassiness and fire that brewed between Braleigh and Brance. I was waiting with anticipation for it all to bubble over. Boil over it certainly did.
Brance was a sexy brooding arsehole..the loveable kind. Braleigh was an old soul who was trying to overcome a traumatic event and Ollie (cutie pie matchmaker) was like the icing on the cake ... the one you just love dipping into and savouring the sweetness, while it melts in your mouth... Ollie will melt your heart.
"You're my sunlight and rainbows after the rain. Dont leave me in the dark". He was the light in her darkness, the other half of her soul.
So many times I felt like jumping into my kindle just to give them a hug. I shed many a tear, in fact I pretty much cried my heart out, I was a bumbling mess.
These two are definitely my favourite couple and this is by far my favourite book from Harloe's library.

Brance’s suit is deliciously rumpled. A naughty gleam lingers in his eyes. Evidence of our kiss lingers on his lips, slightly swollen and red. His hair sticks up in sexy disarray, sections pointing in every direction. I curl my fingers, hiding the guilty offenders. But combing through those silky strands will be committed to memory. I want to do that again, multiple times. But I tamp my trampy side down. For now.
He makes quick work of straightening his tie. “You owe me a story.”
A boulder drops in my gut. “Now?”
Brance sweeps the brown locks off his forehead, erasing more proof of our tryst. “Nah, gotta get back to the office.”
“Already?” I’m still recovering from my orgasm.
He smooths the wrinkles from his shirt. “My schedule leaves no time for deviations. I have a full calendar every day. This indiscretion cost me several hours. I’ll be working late to catch up.”
“Was that a dig at me?”
“Does it matter?”
“Really, Brance? Just like that?”
“Were you expecting something else?”
I open my mouth, then close it. Was I? How could I? Brance smirks at my extended silence.
“That’s what I thought.” He tops it off with a wink for good measure.
“You’re such an—”
“Asshole. Yeah, got it. I don’t have time to rehash the details.”
