Like sands through an hourglass real love stands the test of time - even with a bridge between them.

Are you ready? I wasn't and I don't know if my review will be enough. I may just have to shout it from rooftops how bloody amazing this story is by K.K. Allen. I was enraptured from the first paragraph and it completely turned my world upside down. It captured my heart and soul and took me on an emotional journey past and present of the two star crossed lovers from fueding families Camila and Ridge. Through cornfields and grapevines, through mountain ridges and mines KK weaves a most wonderful tale of intrigue, romance and suspense.
It is heartfelt, poignant, sexy, sweet, gripping, riveting and highly emotional read. The heartache and despair, the trials and tribulations and the major obstacles these two face is enough to break your heart. A heart you will struggle to put back together. This is a most definite read and one of my absolute favourites of the year. A year in which we all struggled with our own trials and tribulations. I'd gladly escape from the real world for a little while if I get to experience Ridge and Camila.
