Ryker’s strong hand cups my chin, turning my face to his, smothering my lips with a fierce sexual tension I wasn’t prepared for. His tongue invades my mouth with delicious need, his kiss the essence of fire burning ice. I melt beneath the dominance, succumbing to the passionate force of his lips moving over mine. When he pulls back, I’m caught in a haze, my body screaming for more. We’re silent in the darkness. Eyes lingering on me, his black irises study me in the bit of light cast from the stage. I feel captured in them as if I’m drowning in dark water, unable to see the surface, and my only choice is to sink and welcome what awaits me.
