 After reading Owen's story in A Sky Full of Stars I was so glad to finally ready about Darcy and Ben. Both losing family members tragically, they each have their own demons and thoughts and ideas on how to live their lives. Darcy lives through her family, being strong and keeping the family together even though she struggled with not every really knowing her mum or having the same memories that her brothers had.
Ben on the other hand has never gotten over the loss of his parents and is estranged from the rest of his family. He is a sculptor and in the middle of writers block when Darcy shows up to help and ends up being the muse he needs.Ben doesn't celebrate Christmas as it was his mothers favourite holiday. Darcy on the other hand is all for the Christmas decorations, wreaths and everything entailed in celebrating this special time.Snowed in at his cabin with tension between them which of course spills over the passion. But can their passion and the miracle of Christmas be enough for these two broken souls to reach their HEA.
